Barothy Lodge

Izzie and I ventured up north to Barothy Lodge in Walhalla Michigan over the weekend for a little getaway. We stayed in an amazing log cabin and, thanks to the beautiful weather, were able to enjoy the outdoors! We saw deer, peacocks, ducks, geese and even fed some pretty big fish.

This was our cabin.

The weather was so nice that we ate lunch outside on the deck.

The deer were in this pen - though she kept hollering, "dog!" at them :)

We played in the park and picked dandelions.



Izzie even had her very own treasure hunt (thank you Dixie!)

She even enjoyed her very first sucker and loved it :)
