Well, we've had a rough stretch and that is why it's been a while since I've posted anything. Izzie's been pretty cranky, not wanting to sleep or take a bottle at all. We can see, though, teeth just below her gums on the top of her mouth. We hope to get a couple of teeth out of this whole ordeal!
Despite the fusiness, she really does try to be a happy baby and she's even doing some new tricks. She is able to stand on her own for 4 or 5 seconds now and can also walk between my legs if I hold onto her hands. She's still saying mama, dada and baba but her big thing now is saying "ooh" - and it's a very long, drawn out ooh where her eyes get huge and her mouth is in the shape of an o.
She also absolutely loves to feed herself. She eats lots of fruit (bananas, melon and avacado), cheese, cereal puffs and pancakes but she especially loved it when I shared my dinner of biscuits, noodles and chicken with her. The chicken was her favorite and she made an mmmm sound with each piece she shoved in her mouth.
